This resort had a few years of life only. We were given a small budget and great freedom to revive a small resort abandonned for years. All was about the extraordinary site and making the best use of the existing buildings . The jungle lift was created to bring guests to the level of the overwater restaurant. The resort was very successful in its 3 years of existence. It was demolished to give way to the Ritz Carlton Langkawi which we built with the same owner.
